Home Visits with Oreo, the tiniest therapy pony ever

I just wanted to share how incredibly grateful I am that we are being invited to visit more and more residential and care homes in the area.

Our tiny Oreo pony is such a delight to everyone he meets! He is incredibly brave, gentle and so well behaved. He can even go into a lift without any fuss — and, he is fully potty trained!

But what makes these visits truly special is seeing the difference Oreo can make.

One lady had not smiled for six years… until the day she started stroking Oreo. That moment is something I will never forget. ❤️

Some residents start singing to him, while others share stories about horses they had loved many years ago. For a little pony, Oreo certainly has a very special way of bringing back memories, starting conversations and putting smiles on people's faces.

I feel incredibly lucky to be able to bring a little bit of happiness, comfort and connection to the residents we visit. Every smile, every story and every gentle stroke means so much to us. (click here to see more photos)
